Viña Maipo was once again present at all the matches of the ATP World Tour in Tokyo (Rakuten Japan Open 2017) with its focus brand Vitral as the official wine of the competition. The winery’s premium brand was visible on the courts, in various media, in the official program of the tournament, and was tasted by customers and the general public during each match.

 

Also, over the weekend the winery organized several activities for important clients in Asia, which included tours of the Japanese capital, lunches at renowned restaurants, a wine seminar led by Viña Maipo’s chief winemaker Max Weinlaub, and offered tickets to the closing tournament.

On this occasion, the staging of Viña Maipo’s premium wine line gave attendees the possibility of taking a photograph and participate in a “lottery” with the option to win great prizes.

The Rakuten Japan Open -better known as the Tokyo Tournament– is the oldest ATP 500 professional tennis competition in Asia, and has been held since 1972. The ATP World Tour 500 is organized by the Japan Tennis Association and is played every year at the Ariake Colosseum in Tokyo, a covered stadium with 48 tennis courts and a total capacity for 13,000 spectators.
